Dr. Donald Lason was born in Chicago and raised in Rogers Park. He attended Senn High School and then the University of Wisconsin. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended dental school at the University of Illinois. He served in the army as a dentist in Texas before opening his private practice here in Chicago.
Dr. Lason is a pioneer in implant reconstruction and his vast experience has made him a valuable mentor to younger dentists. He believes in a team approach to complex dental cases and works with some of the top dental specialists in Chicago. He is a member of American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the PDL Study Club (part of Seattle Study Club).
Dr. Lason has four children and six grandchildren. He is an avid Cubs, Bears, and Bulls fan. In his free time, Dr. Lason enjoys fly-fishing, reading mysteries and historical novels, walking his dog, and trying new restaurants and exploring art festivals with his wife.
